We offer school buses from all the leading manufacturers, including Blue Bird, Thomas Built Buses, and IC Bus (Navistar). Available models include Blue Bird Vision and All American; Thomas C2, HDX, and EFX; and IC CE Series—all built within the last 5–10 years for modern performance and reliability. Most buses seat 44 to 77 passengers (adults or children), with either forward-facing bench seats or optional high-back seating on select models. Standard color is traditional yellow, but we also offer black, white, silver, gray, blue, green, red, navy, and custom wraps upon request. Perfect for sports teams, corporate shuttles, or special events needing something other than yellow. Ask about custom graphics or full-vehicle wraps to showcase your brand or event! If you need a special color or branding, we can wrap the bus with your logo or artwork for an additional fee.

Every school bus comes with high-back vinyl or cloth seats, powerful front and rear HVAC, PA system, Bluetooth/aux input, and either lap/shoulder belts or integrated child seats as required by law. Optional upgrades include Wi-Fi, USB charging ports, tinted windows, roof hatches, and custom seat covers or decals. Luggage can be stored in overhead racks (if equipped) or in the rear cargo area behind the last row of seats. No underfloor storage. All vehicles are carefully prepared before every trip.

School bus rentals typically range from $145–$450+ per hour, $1,520–$3,655 per day, or $6.00–$9.95 per mile depending on the size of the bus, trip duration, mileage, and time of year. Your quote includes the driver’s base pay and standard gratuity, but does not include tolls, parking fees at venues, or hotel/lodging expenses for the driver on overnight trips (these will be billed at cost). Additional charges may apply for deadhead mileage (if the bus has to travel empty to your pickup location), layover/wait time, or special requests like branded wraps and custom wrapping. School buses are the most affordable way to move large groups, but they lack the upgraded amenities of minibuses and full-size charter buses. You won’t get reclining seats, individual reading lights, or onboard restrooms—but you will get the lowest price per seat and the fastest loading times thanks to wide doors and center aisles. Minibuses are better for small groups who want forward-facing seats and air conditioning, while charter buses offer the most comfort with padded seats, strong A/C, and storage bays. If you need something cheap and practical, a school bus is perfect. If you want more comfort or storage, upgrade to a minibus or charter bus.

We recommend booking your school bus at least 3–6 months in advance to guarantee availability and lock in the best rates—especially during peak seasons when demand is highest. In Orange County, spring and fall are especially busy due to school events, graduations, sports tournaments, and major festivals like the OC Fair and local marathons. Summer can also fill up quickly with camps, construction shuttles, and corporate events. If you’re traveling over a holiday weekend or need multiple buses, book even earlier to ensure we can accommodate your entire group. Last-minute rentals are possible if we have open inventory, but prices may be higher and selection will be limited.
